Not in the best of condition (pity about the discoloured sub-dials) but still the only example of a 7A38-724A SAA086J I've ever seen:
Anorak fact: This is the only model in the 7A38-724x / -725x / -726x sub-range to use this 719L dial. All other variants use 718L dials.

Makes a pleasant change, now the temperatures have dropped a little, to be able to wear something on a leather strap once again .... My 7A38-7060 stainless 'beater' on TSS Watchworx Aerosport Mk2 strap, this lovely sunny afternoon:

O.K., so this is a little James was replying to my question about the bezel markings / quarter markers on a Kamatz 517000 I'd posted. Kamatz is now defunct as a watch brand. Their '7A38's were produced by C.G.H. (a.k.a Seiko France) for René Attias. Their current brand name is Navitec. Today I received a promotional email newsletter from them. From that I found these: http://www.navitec.fr/boutique/fr/collection/2-tango-charlie.html The bezel markings appear to be identical.

Yema bezels do rotate - except on the N81X26, which I did warn you about, Paul. Yema Spationaute III Aragatz - 38mm 'reduced' version, model N80A66 - avec lunette tournante. Viva Las Vegas - Vive La Différence.

I briefly wore my latest incoming, the iconic 7A28-7001 'Ripley' from the film Aliens:
it was only briefly though. I switched to a yellow g-shock to match my yellow Tour De France jersey when I went for a ride after lunch.

A Giugiaro 7A28-7050 'cyclist's Speedmaster' must be next on your shopping list, Simon ?

Negatory Paul. Going to spend some time fixing up the 'work in-progress' projects I've had on the go for 'some' time now.

Not one that gets a lot of wrist time, admittedly.

Wearing my 7A28-7030 again. This has had very little wrist time, and I feel a bit bad 'cause the gold lustre of the dial set off against the red/blue of the bezel and the really excellent condition case and bracelet warrants more.

Two weeks and no Yemas! I'll fix that. N8 1X2 6.Installed a Speidel raised rib leather strap. And I buffed the acrylic crystal by hand with Brasso! Came out great!

I suggest you guys make the most of this. It's not a sight you'll see very often, nor likely to see ever again .... Yours truly wearing a 7A38 on a NATO ! My newest incoming (and first of a few) RACER J39 (by Orient) J39908-70.
Now, where's that strap tool ?
