7A28-7039, december 1982 with a non original sapphire crystal which is a b*tch to photograph. Why didn't someone warn me about that

Today's treat is the 7A38-706A from eBay Germany that was mis-marked as an Omega then corrected. A quick cleaning of the pushers. A nice thin Hadley Roma watchband and I'm ready to go!
7A38-6109..... Ain't gonna happen on my wrist! If I find one though, I'd be more than happy to mark it up 300% to crazy foreigners! Paul in Spring Time Las Vegas.

Nice little watch for a sunny but cold day. I love the patina of ageing titanium. 7A28-7080.

Nowt wrong with a bit of patina, Harry. How about my 7A38-7030 with factory-fitted sapphire crystal in somewhat patinated titanium - including the titanium case-back ?
PS - it came out of the collection box with that time set. Has since been adjusted for BST. What a joke - it's still bl**dy freezing !!

A little something bright for another perfect spring day. A rather common 7A28-7029 on a Seiko calf strap with gold Seiko buckle. About as "Bling" as I can go I'm afraid. Paul in Vegas.

Just tried this on for size this afternoon, for 'wrist shot purposes only' - my newest incoming previously unworn NOS Yema N8 Flygraf.

Today I'm wearing my NOS Yema Spationaute III which just arrived recently . A massive-huge-big thank you goes to Mike Kelley who helped me with this transaction. (Also thanks to Paul and Simon! )

Nice one! But do I also see that infamous fog on the inside of the crystal? (All three of mine had it)

Yes, the fog is there too. I took another photo with the flash on....it's clearly visible.
It looks like "ghost" hands underneath the crystal. I think there is some kind of reflection coat applied on the surface of the glass. I'm not sure whether it's possible to remove it or not. At the moment I don't really care, I'm just so happy that I have the watch.

Ah Yes, I remember those well, with some affection too, Arpad. Something a little smaller and different for me too, this afternoon - a Yema Spationaute III 38mm 'reduced' Aragatz - model # N80A696.

Good job we're not all too scared of getting our watches wet, to step out inbetween showers to grab a quick wrist shot, eh Harry ? Not that I'd want to risk so much as doing the washing up wearing this 'diver'. The very first Orient J39 that I added to my collection, courtesy of German collector 'Kurt'. Only one I've ever seen, too - a J39601-70.
Pity that in my haste, I forgot to wind the date forward !!

Hmm. I don't do 7A28's, but I've got to admit, that one's a lovely combination of colours, Harry. Puma Y19301-70 beater (on non-original 'generic replacement' bracelet) for me this afternoon, complete with errant bits of lint.
