Checking my eBay watching page, I see that supposedly NOS Yema N80P896 Pseudo Plongeur sold in the early hours of this morning. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153850578282
Not for the Hawaiian eBay seller's 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of $275, but as revealed by the alternative 'true selling price' link, for a more realistic offer of $180: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=153850578282
Checking the eBay Purchase History shows that was almost the only offer made.

This morning, a US eBay seller listed this Shimauchi Ltd. V906 movement, with a Buy-it-Now price of $99.99, or the option to make an offer. He's trying to pass it off as 'NOS' - his perverse logic being that that he removed it from an allegedly NOS Kamatz. It's NOT NOS - not by any stretch of the imagination - in fact, it's distinctly used, having been removed from a 30-year-old Kamatz 517000 - and indeed is still fitted with that watch's 'Reverse Panda' dial, hands and Tachymeter ring. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224010041115
Here is brand new NOS Japanese Movement. This Movement came out of NOS “Kamatz” French watch. This Particular Movement caliber is Shimauchi V906 which is EXACT SAME REPLACEMENT of SEIKO 7A38 MOVEMENT. The movement is Quartz Chronograph. This movement has Day/Date @3 o’clock side. The stem/crown of the watch is on 8 o’clock side. The movement has 3 chrono eyes on 9, 6 and 3 o’clock positions. This movement has 15 jewels. This high grade quartz chrono movement comes with Dial/Hands and Crown. Also it has new battery. Dear Customers, here is the best information I can provide for this Item. You will receive exactly the same item which You see on the pictures, please read full description carefully and review photos before purchasing. This item is NOT REFUNDABLE. Any questions please feel free and ask, I will be more than happy to help. All pictures and descriptions are matching with this item. Please don't forget to leave positive feedback as I'll be doing the same. THANK YOU!!! Here's what the complete Kamatz 517000 would have once looked like:
And this is how GENUINE NOS Shimauchi Ltd. V906 movements come supplied:

That supposedly 'NOS' Kamatz 517000 / Shimauchi V906 movement sold at the weekend. Not for the $99.99 Buy-it-Now price, but against a best offer. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224010041115
Unfortunately, thanks to eBay's further deliberate obfuscation of best offer selling prices, as explained in this thread - (which I updated on Friday), I'm currently unable to determine what price it actually sold for.

It's shown fitted with a canvas strap, but comes supplied fitted with the original Yema navy shark strap. http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?472905-FS-only-Yema-Spationaute-III

This Kamatz 517000 in average / well worn condition was listed last weekend by a US eBay seller as a 7-day auction, with an opening bid price of $31 and the option to make an offer. I deliberately didn't post about it here before today, so as not to attract any more unwanted attention. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153945168058
RARE COLLECTIBLE MEN'S FRANCE WATCH "KAMATZ" Leather Band Made In FRANCE. Condition is Pre-owned. Shipped with USPS First Class Package. It might not have looked anything special, but I wanted it badly. This is one of the slightly scarcer variants with the all black dial. Despite having collected these for over 10 years, I still didn't actually have one in my collection. I had some mildly annoying competition from another bidder, but sniped it to easily win the auction, earlier this morning, for $75 after 13 bids. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153945168058

This blingy Jaz N8YZ63, fitted with a non-original ill-suited gold-tone bracelet, was originally listed last week, by a US eBay seller, as a 7-day auction with an opening bid price of $12.95 and the option to make an offer. Purchase and shipping outside CONUS is through eBay's dysfunctional GSP programme. Unfortunately, it's been abused and maltreated by the seller, who seems to find it amusing (see title). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153972764640
Jaz Paris Quartz Men’s Wristwatch Chronograph N8YZ63 Watch keeps perfect time but none of the button seem to move Button came out when I went to adjust it Very Heavy Watch Hasn't lost a minute in 4 days Comes as shown and as is. The original listing ended a couple of days ago, unsold and it's since been re-listed. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353100016495
If you check the bidding history, you'll see that I did place a bid of $13 on it; thought the better of it and subsequently retracted my bid. Be my guest (Thierry

This Yema Spationaute III in average worn condition, fitted with the original Yema dark navy leather strap, was listed late yesterday evening, by a French eBay seller, with a 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of 449.99 Euros, currently without the option to make an offer. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/392841115350

I sometimes flinch at the appalling greed of certain eBay sellers. One such, whom I've slated on many previous occasions is Italian profiteering re-seller cmax-28762. Earlier today, he listed a Yema N7 / N8 instruction manual, with a nothing short of extortionate 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of 59.90 Euros. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133449943398

This Yema N81X26, fitted with a NATO strap, was listed yesterday evening, by a French eBay seller, with a highly over-optimistic, 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of 390 Euros. There is also the option to make a lower more realistic offer. The seller claims that the watch is in Almost never worn - perfect condition. His photos tell another story, with plenty of scuffing on the case-back and around the bezel. There also appears to be un petit problème avec 'La bête grande couronne vissée'. Had a good laugh at his 'workaround solution'. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293630351292
Ancien Chronographe Yema Quartz cal. Vintage Chronograph Yema Quartz cal. Seiko 7A38 - Works perfectly well / Keeps time perfectly - new battery / service would be recommended - Chronograph functions work perfectly - reset to zero is OK - Stainless Steel Case / Mineral Glass / Screwed crown - Almost never worn - perfect condition - When the crown is screwed, the day of week is incremented (ex: "TUE" moves to "WED"). This is probably repairable by a watchmaker, nevertheless this not an issue, you just need to set the day to day-1 before screwing the crown.

There have been a few dressy Yema N7's listed on eBay in the last couple of years that I've spotted, but haven't bothered to mention in this thread, simply because they were over-priced, unlikely to sell and aren't very popular with most collectors (other than as '7A28' movement donors). I'm going to make an exception in this case, for no other reason than it's another opportunity to expostulate a would-be profiteering re-seller - and because thanks to his efforts, it's now a bit of a mess. Yesterday evening, Canadian eBay re-seller vintage_wheel_time (a.k.a. banned ex-forum member 'thierry') listed this grossly over-polished Yema N71X33 '7A28' as a 7-day auction, with a highly optimistic opening bid price of $250 CAD. Apart from having been buffed to death, with the gold plating almost worn through to the base metal underneath, it's been fitted with incorrect replacement Seiko sub-dial hands. Looking at the 30 minute counter, that hand appears to be well off its marks. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153991939082
(eBay listing photos removed, after a complaint by the whingeing canuck re-seller). Yema chronograph watch made in France when the Yema company was owned by Seiko, it is powered by the popular Seiko 7A28 caliber. The 7A28 caliber was the first quartz analog chronograph in the world available in 1983. These movements lacked any plastic parts within the gear train and with their 15 jewels, they can be serviced and adjusted like any mechanical movement. This makes them almost indestructible but as a consequence, most watches with this caliber have been used and abused during decades and it becomes very hard to find one in nice cosmetic condition. The one for sale here has an unknown history but it has been really well preserved. The watch is in an exceptional condition for being over 30 years old. No box or paper are included. It keeps excellent time and all functions work as they should. - Pull the crown on the bottom left one click and press the top right pusher to adjust the position of the 1/10th s. chrono sub dial on the right. Press the bottom right pusher to adjust the position of the big second chrono hand and press the top left pusher to adjust the position of the chrono's small minute hand on the left. - Pull the crown two clicks to adjust the time. The chronograph stop, starts, runs and resets like it should, including the fast 1/10s hand. New battery installed. The diameter of the case not including the crown or pushers is: 37 mm The lug to lug length, the one needed to choose a band is: 18 mm The thickness measured from the center of the dome shaped crystal to the back case is: 11 mm In case you didn't recognise it, this is the same Yema N71X33, case-back serial # 4_497, which was listed by a French eBay seller a fortnight or so ago, in a job lot, with a stainless 7A38-6090. Note that the N71X33 was missing two chronograph sub-dial hands (the typical Yema stick style, still present on the constant seconds).
They sold (as a job lot pair) a little over a week ago, for the opening bid of 90 Euros:

Well it evidently took would-be profiteering re-seller montre-luxe-occasion a couple of years to finally work up the nerve to re-list it again, but here is Yema Spationaute III 38mm reduced, model N80A696, case-back serial number 2-270, back on eBay again this afternoon !! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233647319889

This well-worn Kamatz 517000 was listed yesterday evening, by a US eBay seller, with a highly over-optimistic 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of $129.75, with the option to make a lower, more realistic offer, commensurate with its poor condition. It's being offered to buyers outside CONUS through eBay's dysfunctional GSP programme, which potentially adds another $57 in charges. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353155054076
Your looking at a Vintage Kamatz Paris Chronograph......very rare and hard to find.....this watch has a new battery and keeps time......it does need to be srviced and small repair.....priced to sell.....buy with confidence......

With apologies for the double quote - I'm just carrying forward the relevant posts from previous pages. Again, simply because it had dragged on for so long, I hadn't bothered posting any more updates to the saga of this Kamatz 517000, which was first listed by a US eBay seller in April 2019. Since he'd re-listed it in April this year, the US eBay seller had made a few revisions to the re-listing, eventually reducing the Buy-it-Now price down to $129.
At that stage, I briefly considered making the seller an offer, but decided that I really didn't need yet another Kamatz 517000, particularly when I already had two of the blue dialed versions in my collection, one of which was NOS on the original strap. Checking my eBay watching page, I noticed that the US eBay seller had ended the re-listing earlier this evening, because of an error. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293540572093
Possibly some canny potential buyer had persuaded him to drop his price even lower. He re-listed it soon afterwards, with the Buy-it-Now price further reduced to only $90. The listing was live for less than 30 minutes, before someone sensibly hit the B-I-N button and put an end to this saga. Not such a bad buy at that price either. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293680952741
