A few photo's of my FIRST Ferrari Formula Cal. 531. 8) Bought off Ebay last week from a one (1) feedback seller for $ 129.77 US. :D  With non-original band and buckle. :(

Nice catch, Don - a real bargain basement price too ! ;) But you seriously need to replace that god-awful cut down cheapo strap. :P

Been wearing my Racer J39027-70 Panda Breitbling clone this lovely sunny Spring afternoon. 8)

I got it out earlier today to 'borrow' the Meyhofer Lanark 19mm strap off it, to try on my recently acquired even blingier Puma (7T32) Z7A001-70 Breitbling clone. But it didn't work particularly well - definitely needs something black with white stitching - not red. :/

Slightly different shot of my Italian market two-tone 7A38-706B to the one I posted in the model specific thread this morning.

Thanks Paul for finding this Yema  America's Cup  for me  :D  It arrived this morning from France in less than a week.  This N7 is using a Seiko 7a28 Mvt.   If your going to have an " Ugly Duckling " at least let it be NOS / Mint  :P  Paul, I thinks one of these is enough for me  :/  But  It is starting to grow on me , sort of  8)

Lest anybody should be getting the wrong impression lately - or need reminding of the existence of the other thread ....

This isn't the Show and Tell - Your newest incoming 7A thread, but the One and only WRUW thread - for wrist shots. ;)

Today I'm wearing a stainless 7A38-7260 SAA097J on matching IW Suisse dark grey lizard strap - an old favourite of mine.

Always tricky to photograph, trying to avoid picking up relections from a domed crystal - even on dull overcast days like today.

I'm wearing my second-string JDM 7A38-7110; the rather cheaper ex-Yahoo Japan one with plenty of bracelet adjustment links. 8)

A real 'warts and all' quick and dirty shot. :P Slopping around the house wearing this second string cheapo beater Orient J39601-70.

PS I should add - that's not wrist cheese you can see creeping out between the upper bracelet links - it's where the outer gunmetal coating has worn away, exposing the gold plating underneath. ;)

I thought I'd don my Vulcan today and change the bracelet. In an effort to try and capture the vibrant yellow of the dial I've come up with this.

also in an effort to try and be a bit arty I thought I'd give you this, please bear in mind I am from the North where it's grim. :(

See Paul my photography skills are coming on. :P

Yes, Phil. But the WRUW thread is supposed to be for WRIST SHOTS (as in donned) - not 'still life' compositions with lemons.

For the benefit of those who missed Page 1 ....

As we all know, WRUW is supposed to stand for 'What Are You Wearing?'.

So please, Gentlemen, can we stick to the original literal meaning of the phrase.

Please post your WRIST shots of your 7Axx's in this thread - and if it's a 7A38 -

ideally with the correct day / date showing. Call me a pedant if you like. :P

This afternoon I've dug out my 'big bruiser' stainless 7A38-6020, which hadn't seen the light of day in almost a year. :(

It's more or less as I bought it 4 years ago - still with the same lightly scuffed crystal (though some of what you can see in the shot below are tiny raindrops). I've had a NOS replacement crystal available to fit to it for nearly as long. However, I've deliberately held off fitting it. The lettering in the bezel insert is typically faded, but the acrylic resin which covers it only has a couple of light scratches in it. These acrylic inlays are prone to cracking when you attempt to pry the bezel off (usually straight through the pip on a 7A38-6020) - so I've left well alone until now .....

This will be my 'Before' shot. No worries about levering the old bezel off any more. :|  I've got a NOS p/n 86310763 incoming. :D

Last night the clocks went forward - it's officially British Summer Time. What a joke ! it's been raining all morning and still blowing a gale outside. Meanwhile I've been going through my collection boxes, gradually re-setting a few of them. Haven't found a vacant slot for my recently acquired Yema Spationaute III Aragatz yet - so that's what I'm wearing this afternoon. Still on the non-original REWA strap it came fitted with - which I must admit is slowly growing on me; it's very comfortable - especially compared to the Fleurus Shark straps.

Wearing what has become one of my favourite 'grab and go' watches this afternoon: my second-string stainless 7A38-7000 SAA007J - the one that I picked up for the equivalent of 40 Quid (then in need of a crown and some TLC) off eBay France in September 2013.

A Seiko 7A28-6000 this afternoon. With NOS pushers that cost more than the watch ! :o The original "Bishop"  from April 1983 8)

Another Orient J39 beater today - this time a J39001-70, on one of those cheap and nasty Feiko 20mm after-market bracelets:

Wearing another of my favourite 'grab and go' 7A38's today - a very lightly modded stainless 7A38-7280 SAA119J, which I picked up on eBay for 50 Quid a few years back and re-finished. It's fitted with a Sternkreuz white nylon crystal gasket and Seiko 25mm x 16mm 5-hole adjustable clasp closer. No shortage of bracelet adjustment links - just more comfortable than the standard fitment. :)

Edit: My white shirts aren't really that grey. Just another typical overcast day. The sun did manage to break through momentarily ....

Here's a couple of Q&D shots of that delightfully pretty little Racer J39028-70 which I bought off Milanuncios.com last December.

Those scratches that appear to be on the crystal around 400 on the Tachymeter scale aren't. See the thread if you haven't already.

Just Chillin'. Wearing my 7A38-6000 'Dinky Diver' on (non-original) vintage Seiko 'Beads of Rice' bracelet.

Couldn't make up my mind between these two shots - so two for the price of one:

Took a dive into that same collection box and surfaced with this - my somewhat larger and not quite so pretty 7A38-6060 SAA071J.

Nothing special today - just wearing a second (or perhaps my third) string two-tone beater 7A38-7020 SAA010J.
