Something plain and simple for a change - and 7A38's don't come much plainer or simpler than the stainless 7A38-7190 SAA053J. Otherwise known as 'the Argos catalogue special'. This is my lesser of two examples, with the slightly scabby 30 minute sub-dial.

Saturday and another Yema Spationaute III - on a different ZRC 'double jonc' blue leather strap rather than my usual Fleurus shark.

Nice pick-up Don. PS - The differences between the European / JDM 7A48-7000 and US Export 7A48-7009 are explained in some detail here:

Just a couple of Q&D 'warts and all' shots of my recently acquired Racer / Orient J39024-50 'beater' resto' project, which I finished nailing back together this morning. With many thanks to David ('Frenchy') for helping me to rescue this one. I think it was worth it.
I'll add a few overdue updates to the RACER J39 by Orient 'Spanish Inquisition' thread, including a full write-up on this one, at the weekend when I've got more time.

Not that I ever need any excuse, but today being the 9th December, I thought I'd strap on a Yema Spationaute III Aragatz .... in honour of the 26th anniversary of Jean Loup Chretien's then record 5h 57m EVA, this day in 1988.

Dark, dreary and overcast for two days! This is deplorable! Hence an all black 7A38-7290 - with "Patina".
Paul, in not so sunny Las Vegas

But wait, the sun has come out..something a little brighter. 7A28-7029.
About as bright as I can go. Paul. (Can't match Paul or Donwatch for "Bling")

Somebody say 'Bling' ? An unseasonally sunny (but still cold) winter's day over here in Blighty - thought I'd dig out the ultimate blingy 7A38 .... My 7A38-6109 SAA114J.
You know what, Paul ? I reckon if you trawled the pawn shops in Vegas, you could easily pick up one of these. Go on - you know you want one really.

A bit more bling to brighten up an otherwise dull overcast Sunday afternoon. We three Rings of Orient are.
