I think you meant the After the jealous juvenile jibes about my ‘Fake Ferrari’ made by banned forum member Moonphase (a.k.a. kineticsinc2012 on eBay) earlier this week, I just couldn’t let today (being the 24th) pass without giving this other ‘kit-built ‘Fake Ferrari’ 7A38’ some wrist time.
In case any of you are wondering (or care) what this was all about, check out the thread in the Members Lounge section: PS - Should he perchance read this,

Been walking the dog in an old estates park nearby wearing my old scruffy beater 7A28-7040. Still very cold but getting slowly better

No real excuse for lack of WRUW shots over the last couple of days, other than the fact that it's been too bleedin' cold to step outside to take a photo. Even with the sun trying its best to break through this morning, the unseasonal Arctic chill is still biting, here in UK. So excuse the very Q&D shot (before my hand turned purple). My Orient J39001-70 'bitza'.

Just returned from a spirited midnight ride to and from Death Valley, sporting a 7a38-706A. Shame I can't read the Tachymeter scale anymore.

A proper vintage open top sports car, British Racing Green with tan interior. May I direct you to my Intro - see 11 Oct. (stop laughing). Tonight's ride will entail a 7A28-7120, heretofore known as a Seiko RAF Gen 1! Picture to follow. Paul in Vegas

I just noticed you'd made another post in the WRUW thread, Con .... and thought to myself: Nah Anyway, I've been busy. I started a day early with my Yema / C.G.H. collection box, gradually working my way through it. I came to my original Yema N8 Flygraf, which I bought on eBay, way back in December 2009 and believe it or not, I don't think I've actually worn for over three years.
I've certainly not posted a photo of this particular Flygraf in the WRUW thread before, and the group shot below (of my fledgling Yema N8 collection as it then was) taken in February 2010 appears to be the most recent photo I'd taken of it. Very remiss of me.
The strap on this Flygraf is a non-original (but very comfy) TSS Watchworxs Brooklands MkII. Heavy padded style suits the watch well.

Very nice Flygraf. So militaristic of you! But how on earth can you read those tiny numbers? And for last nights ride around Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam my ever faithful 7A28-7120.
A little chilly overnight hence the U.S. Air Force flight jacket and gloves.

This expensive little bugger, a 7A38-7130 came in this morning. Well actually the postman allready came by yesterday but didn't give it to me because I hadn't enough CASH (completely ridiculous in this day and age) to pay 79,45 euro in duties. 79,45! Based on what I wonder. The guy who shipped it to me from the States had sent it as a gift! Happy Easter everyone! And don't forget to adjust your watches for summertime this weekend.....

79.45 Euros in duties, Harry ? The Dutch Exchequer's calculations possibly based on the original recommended retail price ? The Titanium 7A38-7130 SAA046J was probably one of the most expensive 7Axx's ever offered in Europe - 1,295DM back in 1986:

Thanks Paul! Somehow it makes me feel better to know it was a pretty expensive watch in it's day. Happy to say it works as it should, although it needs a new crystal. Looks okay too. I think duties are based on the mood of the wife that morning. I could never detect any logic in the amounts. Asking about it is of course pointless: the work is done by public servants and they answer to no one.

This afternoon, another from my Yema / C.G.H. collection box that I was working my way through, yesterday - and another favourite. My Yema Spationaute III 38mm 'Reduced', model # N80A696 (on original Yema golden brown shark strap).
Promise - I'll 'get back with the (Seiko 7A38) program' tomorrow.
