SO predictable.   I'm surprised it actually lasted that long !

So now we're back to where we were beginning last week (with his other banned alter ego) - another 3-day auction listing with an opening bid price of $299.95 Au. But seriously, would you dare risk buying anything from this clearly deranged and perverted seller sewer rat - at any price ?

And so it goes on. Business as usual - Dempsey W***** style.

This latest 3-day auction also had a bid on it, before he cancelled it, ending the listing, once again, as item allegedly no longer available, about 25 minutes ago.

Indeed, checking his other items for sale, he appears to have ended all 18 of his current (re)listings, which were for various Rolex, other Seiko's and the obligatory (11) 1:43 Minichamps F1 model cars - at 2:30am local time in Melbourne.

I make no apologies for the double quote carried forward from the previous page.

(Nor indeed, do I make any kind of apology for re-posting this, virtually exactly the same as it was before, after I was forced to delete the original post of above date, because I was unable to edit the full name included in the previous quote.)

Indeed, I strongly recommend that anyone who hasn't already read the full story of this particular 7A28-7A00 and its deranged Australian eBay seller goes back to my post dated July 2nd July, 2019 at 7:03 PM. It begins:

Anybody fancy a potentially cheap plastic watch ? :P This afternoon, I spotted this 7A28-7A00 SBBJ005 in almost NOS condition, listed by an Australian eBay seller.

I'd deliberately refrained from posting an update before, so as not to to prejudge the outcome. Last Monday, 15th July, eBay seller f1models (a.k.a. Dempsey W*****) had re-listed it once again as another 7-day auction with the same opening bid price of $299.95 Au. I must admit, going by his proven track record of ending his listings early*, as item allegedly no longer available, I'd half expected this one to suffer the same fate. Uncharacteristically, he allowed this one to run the full 7-day duration.

Last time I checked on it, late last night this latest re-listing had gained 27 bemused watchers (including myself), but quite sensibly, nobody had dared to venture placing a bid. At that time, it had just passed the 'last 12-hours window', beyond which point an eBay seller can no longer terminate a listing. If you check the Bidding History, somebody finally placed a bid on it @ 9:53am (UK time) this morning and then someone else bid 7 minutes before it ended. It sold for $305 Au. after just 2 bids.

*Incidentally, during the last week alone this deranged Australian seller f1models has created or re-listed and ended early - in his usual manner at least a dozen other listings, for various Ball, Hamilton and Rolex watches and accessories.

During the same timeframe, he's also changed his eBay Profile icon / wallpaper three times - presumably in efforts to disguise his identity to unsuspecting punters. Here's a quick reminder of what Dempsey W***** looks like in his natural habitat.

Speaking of certain eBay sellers, of whom I have an intense dislike (admittedly there were already 'quite a few' on my blacklist and the number continues to grow).

This morning, I ran a worldwide eBay search on 'Seiko 7A28' (not something I do particularly regularly) and spotted a couple more 7A28-7A00 SBBJ005's which had been listed recently.

At the weekend, irksome profiteering Italian eBay re-seller simone00simone listed a NOS example, with a typically greedy 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of 700 Euros and currently no option to make an offer.

Wonderful Seiko 7A28-7A00 vintage chronograph quartz speed master Giugiaro design, the watch is in nos condition, never worn, watch working perfectly.

Watch sold in its original box.

I haven't bothered to try searching for where or when he bought it, but his asking price is way more than double what the Italian eBay seller albysurf1995 was selling them for a couple years ago (initially 250 Euros - see top of page 2 onwards). I also strongly doubt that this watch is being sold in its original box as Simone claims. If you check his feedback as a buyer, you'll see he's bought 3 vintage Seiko boxes in the last month, including one of the same style.

It's rare for Simone to be outdone, in terms os sheer greed, but how about this for sheer stupidity ? This used 7A28-7A00 SBBJ was listed (or re-listed) 10 days ago by an aptly ironically named Japanese proxy eBay seller japan-premium-shop, with an absolutely ludicrous 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of  $1200 !!

Over the last month, would-be profiteering Italian eBay seller simone00simone had made a number of revisions to that listing. These included 3 reductions to his 700 Euro 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price, eventually reducing it to 'only' 390 Euros.

His final arbitrary act, earlier this week, was to screw around (three times) with the order of his photos, before ending the listing, allegedly because of an error. Presumably the error was still in the pricing.

No great surprise, it's back on eBay again, re-listed earlier this morning.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, I'd spotted another 7A28-7A00 SBBJ005, in similar almost NOS condition, listed by a US eBay seller, last week, as a 7-day auction, with an opening bid price of $281, with the option to make an offer. Purely out of curiosity, I added it to my eBay watching page.

Seiko 7A28-7A00 Vintage Chronogragh 1980’s Giugiaro motorcycle design. Condition is Pre-owned. All chronograph functions work perfectly, unsized full bracelet, spotless crystal. Case has a couple small scuffs on left side, otherwise the rest is in nos condition. Returns accepted if not as described. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.

The 7-day auction ended just after Midnight (UK time), selling for the opening bid price of $281.

Checking my eBay watching page, I noticed that 7A28-7A000, re-listed by Simone, early this morning, sold about half an hour after I made my penultimate post. Not for his reduced Buy-it-Now price of 380 Euros, but ....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114025188649

As revealed by the alternative 'true selling price' link, for a best offer of 350 Euros.

Which coincidentally happens to be exactly half his original Buy-it-Now price !
