I'm trying my first resurrection/service on a 7A28, this is a 7020 'Dark Bond' (I'm sure that's not it's proper name!). Of the three actuators, one is perfect, one has a bit of rust and I think it'll be ok, and one disintegrated when I tried to remove it. I was gutted to find out they are discontinued and I'm struggling to find any for sale.

If anyone has one, or knows where I could maybe get one, I'd be very grateful. I'm in UK but will consider any source. I can be contacted via lordneville@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance,

Pip

Sorry, Pip. I didn't realize from our PM exchange that you were so desperate (as to place a WTB advert). :/

I'm not about to offer my last 2 NOS 4450.727 switch levers, but I have a few used slightly rusted ones in my Round Tuit pot, that along with a few other bits and pieces, have been soaking in WD-40 for a year or two.

I'm sure at least a couple of them will clean up quite well. If you want one, PM me your address and I'll get one in the post to you.

Oh, you are a top man, thank you. That is the perfect solution, I wouldn't trust myself with NOS ones yet as I'm a newbie at this so the NOS stuff is better reserved for nicer models being restored by more competent people.

PM on the way.
