This morning I'm wearing a variant that's obviously related to the gold-tone 7A38-7190 at bottom of the previous page. It's the 7A38-727A SAA126J, which shares the same case and bracelet. It wasn't what I'd planned on wearing today, but when I opened the collection box, I noticed this one doing the 'two-second two-step'. I must have failed spotting it last week. So I got it out and duly replaced the battery earlier this morning. I have two of these; this one doesn't get worn hardly at all, so as to keep it in NOS condition.

In case you might be wondering where you've seen that off-white 723O dial (above) before, it's more commonly found in the two-tone 7A38-7270 SAA094J.

Here's effectively the somewhat plainer all-stainless version of that watch, the 7A38-727B SAA149J.

It needed something to brighten up a dull overcast morning, so I got out this blingy gold-tone 7A38-7270 SAA096J. Alas, it's not one of my favourite variants. There's something not quite right with those white sub-dial rings, to my eye.

The last time I wore this stainless 7A38-727A SAA131J, a little over a year ago, I wrote:

Call it luck, but I think I finally managed to capture it perfectly this morning. 8-)

This morning I'm wearing my original stainless 7A38-7270 SAA093J, which I've owned from new for nearly 35½ years. :)

It's still 'all original' (apart from battery changes). I was working on a couple of others last week (I have 10 of this model in total) and was tempted to replace the lightly scratched and chipped crystal at the same time as I did another. But I did remove the bracelet and cleaned off 35 year's worth of hardened wrist cheese - see last year's photo for comparison.

1st blue SATurday of a new month and I'm wearing my most recently acquired Yema Spationaute III Aragatz. It's the one I purchased on a whim off Yahoo Japan a fortnight ago, per my post here. All I've done is given it a quick clean and fitted the correct size #394 battery. Didn't turn out to be quite as mint as the seller implied, but the light graze on the bezel, around 2 o'clock looks much worse than it actually is.

Wearing this blingy Yema N81W63 Breguet Classique clone this morning. I bought it a couple of months ago (it came from the same batch of NOS as James' example, but on the alternative lizard strap). I hadn't worn it before today.

As a change from 43mm Ø Yema Spationaute III's, this thundery overcast blue SATurday morning I'm wearing something smaller: my favourite 'Dinky Diver' 7A38-6000 SAA039J fitted with a non-original vintage Seiko 'Beads of Rice' bracelet.

Here's a blingy one to brighten up another dull overcast morning. I'm wearing one of my gold-tone 7A38-6109 SAA114J's. Like the example I posted last year, this watch has also been restored using a salesman's sample case. Couldn't make up my mind between these two shots, taken seconds apart, so here's both of them.

I'm wearing this tidy example of the stainless 7A38-6020 SAA041J this morning. I refurbished it, fitting a NOS bezel, crystal and dial, about three years ago - documented in a sequence of posts in the old forum's model specific thread.
