Well, after 3 weeks of inactivity, I was beginning to wonder what might have happened to our favourite manic re-listing re-seller.

But perhaps they've just been away on holiday. Because this morning, they're back again, with 60 new listings (mostly watches):

http://www.ebay.com/sch/martinachertok/m.html

No sign of their dog-eared / ambitiously over-priced 7A38's as yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. I'll be ready and waiting.

First up is their (ex-Worldwideweb66) two-tone 7A38-7270, fitted with an incorrect replacement bracelet, back for the 26th time:

Followed closely, overnight by the 28th re-listing for their D-I-Y repair 7A38-7069:

Well that listing didn't last very long. Manic re-listing Mad Martina Martinachertok obviously intends to carry on where she left off.

Because it's already back again, just 30 seconds later - now re-listed for the 27th time: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251368551559

Indeed, hardly a surprise, the same thing happened with Martinachertok's D-I-Y repair 7A38-7069 in the early hours of this morning.

The 28th re-listing was ended early and replaced almost immediately by the 29th re-listing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261318027859

As this is likely to quickly become rather boring (unless they start playing around with their prices again), for the time being, at least ....

I'll just revert to updating the two lengthy posts summarizing their activities at the top of Page 8.

I suppose I ought to give this a mention - if only as a cautionary word.

In their most recent (30th) re-listing for their D-I-Y repair 7A38-7069, Martinachertok have further reduced the price from $135 to $115.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251370502850

Now whereas, to the uninitiated, this may seem tempting - almost a 'bargain', particularly when compared to the ridiculous $295

they were asking for it back in June and July - it's not. May I take another opportunity to remind any new readers what this would-be profiteering re-seller Martinachertok actually paid for the very same 7A38-7069 back in April (and have since done nothing with) - $41:

Looks like the Fools from Fogelsville are up to their old shenanigans again.

The 28th re-listing for their two-tone 7A38-7270 was initially (over)priced @ $298, the same as the previous half dozen or so listings.

They subsequently increased the Buy-it-Now price to $395, before ending the listing early (as usual):

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemRevisionDetails&item=261319001589

For their latest 29th re-listing, the B-I-N price is further increased to $495 - the same price as they initially first listed it, back in June:

I was beginning to think manic-relisting Mad Martina Martinachertok was slacking. :/

They almost allowed the 30th re-listing for their D-I-Y repair kit 7A38-7069 to run the full length of the 7-day listing. :o

But they didn't - the listing was ended early (as usual) overnight - but not before they'd increased the Buy-it-Now price to $165:roll:

'Groundhog Day' has already dawned on the two-tone 7A38-7270. The first listing lasted about 42 hours before it was ended early.

What was that I wrote about Groundhog Day ?

Because for the 30th time of re-listing, mad Martina Martinachertok has seen fit to increase the price back up to $595 again !

Not seen for a while now (their last previous listing ended on 24th September) ....

Martinachertok drags out their 'stunning' (not) 7A38-7280 gold-tone beater again, for a 24th time of re-listing:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251376453922

In case anybody needs a reminder, this is the same tired 7A38-7280 with a chronograph fault, they bought  in March for $46:

As if anybody really cares any more, during the last 24 hours mad Martina Martinachertok has seen fit to increase their Buy-it-Now price on that dog-eared gold-tone 7A38-7280 from $135 (which was already a joke) to $225. Here we go again.

Having messed around revising the prices in their various (re)listings for their D-I-Y repair 7A38-7069, over the last couple of weeks, the latest and if my reckoning is correct, 32nd re-listing by Martinachertok appeared in the early hours of this morning:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251380996091

Price may be down to 'only' $95 now, but this is still more than double the $41 they paid for it, back in April. Though Lord only knows what they must have spent on eBay listing fees over the last 7 months. Would probably have paid for half a dozen new crowns.

Hardly worth bothering to mention, but manic re-listing Martinachertok has summarily declined offers of $80 and $45 against their two most recent re-listings (their 33rd and 34th) for their D-I-Y repair kit 7A38-7069 - both of which were then subsequently ended early:

I expect it'll be back, anytime now.

There must be something else going on here (other than mental health issues).

After various sporadic activity earlier this week, particularly frigging around with pricing and re-listing of the D-I-Y repair kit 7A38-7069, overnight, Martinachertok performed a 'cull' (not just on their listings for the 7A38's, but a good number of their other watch listings) ... so that by the early hours of this morning, the three 7A38's were temporarily at least back in sync with each other:

Top to bottom they are:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261336276709 33rd re-listing for the two-tone 7A38-7270 (ex Worldwideweb66) fitted with incorrect bracelet.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251385581276 36th re-listing for the D-I-Y repair 7A38-7069 and

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251385581275 27th re-listing for the beater gold-tone 7A38-7280.

The summary posts at the top of page 8 are all currently up-to-date - but I doubt that'll last long !

Somehow, I just knew that would turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Less than 24 hours later, Martinachertok had ended all 3 of those listings early - because they were allegedly no longer available:

One thing we can rest assured of - they'll be back .... unfortunately.

Does anyone have a theory why these jokers continue in doing this?

Surely they have something better to do.

If at first you don't succeed (well not for the first 34 misguided blatant attempts at profiteering, anyway) ,,,, Wadderya do ? :/

According to Mad Martina Martinachertok's warped logic you increase the price once more ! Here we go yet again.

I suppose some kind of congratulations should be in order. Or perhaps not.

To celebrate the 40th re-listing of their D-I-Y repair kit 7A38-7069, Martinachertok has seen fit to increase the price again to $145:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm251394058512

In case you're wondering how they managed to get to 40, check out my post summarizing their re-listing activities at the top of page 8.

This particular 7A38 has come in for more (unwarranted) attention in the last week - it was re-listed and ended early twice yesterday.

Manic re-listing Martinachertok made a couple of minor changes for their 32nd listing of the dog-eared gold-tone 7A38-7280 overnight:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261347059176

They reduced the B-I-N price from $195 to 'only' $145 - big of them seeing as they only paid $46 for this piece of junk back in March.

As you can see from the above screen print, they also changed the order of the photos, so that the movement shot is now the primary image. No doubt this pathetic attempt at subterfuge is intended to confuse any unwary punters (can there still be anybody out there ?) into thinking they hadn't seen the same watch listed on eBay before. Just in case someone missed it on the 31 previous occasions !

They also ended their current listings for the ex-Worldwideweb66 7A38-7270 (fitted wrong bracelet) and D-I-Y repair kit 7A38-7069 ....

So that for at least five minutes, their three 7A38 re-listings are temporarily back in sync once again:

Top to bottom they are:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251396326118 41st re-listing for the D-I-Y repair 7A38-7069 - that one has now overtaken the other two.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251396326128 39th re-listing for the two-tone 7A38-7270 (ex Worldwideweb66) fitted with incorrect bracelet.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261347059176 32nd re-listing for the beater gold-tone 7A38-7280.

The existing summary posts at the top of page 8 are both currently up-to-date ....

However, this morning, as I came to save the first updated post, I received the maximum 20,000 characters per post warning ....

So I'll probably abandon that in the very near future and start a new summary post at the top of page 11 - indeed with my next post. ;)
