I've had 2 annoying problems with PhotoBucket lately .... Firstly I frequently can't access images beyond the first page of any sub-album - a keep getting a blank screen. This afternoon (when I could actually access Photobucket), every time I tried to upload a new photo, I got 'Upload Error'. When it wasn't doing that, I kept getting this screen:
I thought at first, it might be something to do with the fact that I'd installed AdBlockPlus on Chrome a few weeks ago. But later this afternoon, I resorted to using Internet Explorer - and got the same (failed) results !

Nope. Photobucket has definitely sprung a leak today. It was mentioned on SCWF around the same time I tried to upload a few: http://www.thewatchsite.com/index.php/topic,36459.0.html

I've not been doing many (read hardly any) uploads in the last few weeks. I'm sure though that I've seen a couple of advisory emails from Photobucket notifying me of exciting upgrades being performed. Typically I can't find said emails but I'm sure I haven't been imagining them. Anyway, they are clearly doing maintenance / upgrades / whatever work thats affecting service.

Indeed, it seems they were, Simon - and everything stabilized, and went back to normal about a week later. The only difference I noticed is that sometimes (not always) PB would add an alpha-numeric suffix to my photo filename (before .jpg). Looks like they were (still are) working on a mobile version - or possibly trying to combine the two (a frequent bugbear nowadays). See this thread on the RLT watch forum: http://www.thewatchforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=78353 (includes screen shots). I stll haven't clicked on the 'Try it Now' button - but apparently the option to revert to the old look still exists - at least for the time being.

Not long now.
So yesterday, I was at work and needed to upload a couple of images. Clicked on the PB icon and it went straight into the new version with no option to return to the old version !! Absolutely HATE it !!
