Bit of a late spot this one: a rather poor example of a Yema N8 Flygraf offered by a French eBay seller, with less than a day of the current listing to run. Even disregarding the over-ambitious Buy-it-Now price of 225 Euros, it falls into the 'one best avoided' category, suffering from flaking sub-dials, degraded hands lume and a well-worn, typically graunched case-back. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222417788398

When I first saw this US eBay listing for a Yema N81W43 yesterday, I got an immediate sense of Déjà Vu - but for the wrong reasons. The watch being offered for sale is not the same as that shown in their first three photos. Those images have been 'borrowed' either from this eBay listing from last October or more likely page 21 of this thread. Needless to say I'm only going to upload their own photos. As for the wild disparity in their pricing ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262872588022

I'd continued to add the German eBay seller's various (30-day) re-listings for that risibly over-priced Yema N81W63 to my watching page - though I really don't know why I bothered. At some point last year (can't remember exactly when), he reduced the Buy-it-Now price to 429 Euros, then a couple of weeks ago, he reduced it again to 'only' 349 Euros. Checking my eBay watching page, I noticed that he'd ended the most recent re-listing yesterday evening 'because the item is allegedly no longer available'. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152419303877
Thinking back, I'm pretty sure he's done that once before, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it back again re-listed at some point.

Needless to say, the eBay listing for that poor condition Yema N8 Flygraf at the top of this page ended with the watch unsold. As far as I could see, from interrogating Goofbid, there were no offers made - not even any 'lowballs'. The would-be French seller re-listed it this morning, with the Buy-it-Now price reduced to 185 Euros, which is getting into the right ball park for a used N8 Flygraf. Not this particular example though - unless you're a particular fan of 'patina'. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222425683213

No great surprise, that would-be German eBay seller's still grossly over-priced Yema N81W63 ts back once again, re-listed. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152455674717

That US eBay auction for the dressy Yema N81W43, which Don was referring to, ended about 5 minutes ago, selling for $89.67 after 16 bids. Not a bad price, but rather more than Don or I were prepared to pay for 'another' example - and a long way short of the eBay seller's original 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now asking price of $425 ! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262872588022

I lost count of the number of re-listings (since the first week of November last year), but it looks like that 38mm 'reduced' Yema Spationaute III, fitted with an ill-matched NATO strap, sold (again) last weekend, this time for the full 300 Euros Buy-it-Now asking price. So persistence appears to have finally paid off for the French eBay seller - assuming it stays sold this time, that is. ![]()

This well-worn full size 43mm Yema Spationaute III was listed last week by another French eBay seller. Not a great deal going for it, besides the 'Mission Flags' dial - other than it came with the original C.G.H. headed instruction sheets. The opening bid price was 50 Euros; I spotted the 7-day auction with less than 8 hours to go, at which point bidding appeared to have stalled @ 100 Euros. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351994700441

Another late spot on my part - I'm clearly not running my eBay searches on Yema frequently enough. This Yema N71X31 was listed as a 3-day auction at the weekend, by a French seller, with an opening bid price of 10 Euros. It appeared to be in reasonable cosmetic condition, but is obviously missing its sweep second hand; being sold as 'untested'. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//132122767419
Montre YEMA TACHYMÈTRE Quartz. Non testée. The auction ended a few moments ago, with the N7 selling for 39 Euros after 23 bids. 20 of those 23 bids were placed by the winning bidder j***5. I wouldn't suspect shill bidding in this instance. More a novice eBayer who was determined to win it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132122767419

This Kamatz 517000, a version with the typically French quirky tricoleur sub-dials, in pretty good cosmetic condition, but fitted with a non-original two-tone bracelet, was listed last week by a US eBay seller, with an opening bid price of $45. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122394332441
Auction is for a rare and vintage chronograph watch made in France by Kamatz, watch has a new battery and it is in good working order, in general watch is in good condition with some scratches and minimum of wear, 40mm with no crown. Please see pics, if you have a question let me know. Thanks for watching. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. The auction ended earlier this evening, selling for $76 after only 3 bids. Won by forum member Don. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122394332441

This deceptively attractive-looking Yema N81W43 was listed overnight by the devious Australian eBay seller intel54. If that eBay user ID sounds familiar, it's because a little over a month ago, I wrote up the saga of his N81W53 as the first post at the top of this page. Unusually for me, I initially failed to recognize it for exactly what it was. It transpired that watch was a very subtle franken - a Yema N81W43 dial / movement in a N81W53 case. This is, in effect, the other half of the equation, made up of the Yema N81W43 case (reunited with its original badly graunched case-back serial # 2362), fitted with the dial / movement from the seller's previous N81W53 Franken. I subsequently moved those couple of posts to another more suitable thread in this forum section where, as a Franken it properly belonged - and I should have composed them in the first place. I'll write this up in more detail there, presently. But I thought I ought to give any potential buyers a 'heads up' here too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322466470631
Note that at this stage, the seller hasn't revised his listing / description once yet.

That deceptively attractive-looking Yema N81W43 / N81W53 Franken, cobbled together by incompetent Aussie watch botcher intel54, sold late last night for a reduced Buy-it-Now price of $95 Au, after his usual customary childish revisions to the listing. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322466470631
As to this idiot's false accusation that I am the reason he doesn't ship to UK (nor Germany), if you check out this thread, you'll see he was already blocking buyers from UK as far back as early November last year - before I started taking the p!ss out of him.

This average worn condition Yema Spationaute III Aragatz was listed earlier today by a French eBay seller. It's still fitted with the original Yema Shark strap (with later style loop buckle), but as you can see from the seller's photos, it's pretty much knackered. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Montre-Yema-spationaute-3-/282430515385

There appears to be some duplication in the seller's description, which I've simply copied and pasted (as writ) for now. I suspect he in turn copied most of it from a recent previous listing (for a 38mm 'reduced' Spationaute III on a NATO). Hence the references to 40MM (hors couronne), when of course this is the full-sized 43mm diameter model - N80P76.

The above French eBay auction for a Yema Spationaute III ended a couple of minutes ago selling for 300 Euros after 13 bids. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282430515385
That price would be unremarkable, unless you happen to check the bidding history. There were only two bidders. The losing bidder, who bid it up to 229.51 Euros has 100% bidding activity with this seller - indicating a shill. It's academic now anyway, because the winning bidder then stacked two more 'safety' bids on top of his 300 Euro bid, so was prepared to go even higher.

This well worn Yema N8 Flygraf was listed yesterday evening by a French eBay seller with an opening bid price of 80 Euros. It might make a suitable restoration project. The crystal is badly scratched; the bezel worn and the hands lume degraded and flaking, but at least the sub-dial's paint doesn't appear to be flaking (like so many other rough examples we've seen recently) and amazingly, the case-back hasn't been butchered. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172634875020

The above French eBay auction for a well-worn Yema N8 Flygraf ended a few moments ago, selling for 151 Euros after 21 bids. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172634875020
There wasn't really that much actual interest in it - 20 of those 21 bids were placed by the winning bidder, who - no great surprise, has 100% bidding activity with the seller. So it may have been shilled.

Things have been a little quiet on the Yema N7 / N8 sales front recently, so I ran a quick worldwide search on eBay ended listings, to see if I'd missed anything. I only found one, a N71Z396 America's Cup that was listed albeit very briefly last Sunday lunchtime, by a French seller, with a Buy-it-Now price of 69 Euros. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232326420719 Ancienne Montre De Collection YEMA America's Cup France Tachymètre Water Resist
The French eBay seller's brief decription merely stated: En bon état. A pile. Pas de rayure. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232326420719
WatchCount.com Lookup tool shows the canny buyer knocked the seller's price down by 10 Euros, using the Make Offer button.
As you can see from the details above, the listing was only live for less than two hours and received only 4 views during that time. Hence the reason I missed it.
