And they just keep on coming.

Since Seiko's release of the 7T12-based 'Aliens Tribute' clones SCED035 and SCED037 in mid-November, an increasing number of original 7A28 'Alien's are suddenly appearing on eBay and Yahoo Japan - both silver anodised and black chrome coated finishes.

Perhaps sellers are taking advantage of the renewed interest or possibly off-loading before the bottom drops out of the market. :P

Here's another optimistically over-priced 7A28-7000 'Aliens' currently listed on eBay Italy:

and one in a very similar condition which sold for a rather more realistic price last week (as an auction):

Of course, we all know that the black chromed version never actually appeared in the movie. ;)

It's been over a year since I last updated this thread, but take my word - they've kept on coming !

Earlier this morning, in reply to a question in the 7A38-7140 model specific thread, I made the comment:

The 7A38-7140 has got to be one of a couple of watches that makes the most frequent appearances on eBay Italy as NOS.

Another is the black chrome 7A28-7000 'Aliens'. It's almost as if Seiko off-loaded all their unsold stock on their Italian distributor.

Here's the latest - offered with a typically ludicrous 'pie-in-the-sky' Buy-it-Now price of $2550 by Italian eBay seller oldantiquestyle (a.k.a Alberto Ulmi, previously known as Goffre78 and valentinasex).
