Paul that is a nice piece. Now, if I can figure out a way to drive to the UK I would hand deliver those timepieces.

After 5725 miles visiting 21 states across these United States I've arrived home safe and sound.

And awaiting me is my trusty Yema N81X26.

An old favourite this chilly Sunday morning - Grande Bleu - Yema Spationaute III Aragatz on Fleurus blue shark strap.

That's a lot of blue, something to do with the weather? You need sunshine. 8) But with the sunshine it makes it tough to get a good shot. Reflections are a real pain so we'll have to make do with these on the crystal of my 7A38-7290.

A refreshing change from Paul's perfect, mint and NOS pieces…:D Patina…I like patina…;)

Yes - as you can see, my hand was turning blue, Paul. :( Weather's a bit warmer today, sunny with showers.

I don't mind a bit of patina myself (for everyday wearers), as long as I've got another minter up my sleeve. ;)

So here's my fugly beater 7A38-6060 with well wabi'd bezel insert, on a blue Yema 'double jonc' strap.

I do like a splash of red on my watches too. Here's its rather more attractive Japanese cousin, the JDM 7A38-6050 SJS058.

Apologies for the less than ideal quality of this shot. Was struggling to find somewhere with the right amount of natural light - I'd forgotten how difficult this watch was to photograph (domed crystal = reflections). My 20th attempt. It'll have to do for now. :P

Hello everyone. i don't think I've seen this one on the forum. 7A28-6050. Bought a few months ago on Leboncoin. Small watch, reminds me (somehow) of the beautifull Yves Saint Laurent that some have post here. And my first try of perlon strap...

A nice afternoon shot of my 7A38-7069. Keep an eye on this case because it may soon become a 7A38-706B. :)

My newest incoming Orient J39930-70 - purchased off Tradera.com. I'll be writing up a bit more about it in this thread later.

I don't think I've posted a wrist shot of my other Orient J39930-70 before. The one with the champagne dial. So here it is.

I vote for your new white dial J39930-70   :D   But both very tidy!

I vote for the Orient RACER with black dial. Even with the white date wheel. What is the size of this watch? It seems like a 7a38-706A.

It's a shade under 39mm diameter. Deceptive really, because the case is quite a bit wider than the decorative bezel ring which is only 36mm outside diameter.

(Nope…champagne dial…nice and subdued and tasteful.

Ok…Seiko 7A38-6010…perfect size for my skinny wrist at 38mm.

Granted it is not tight and hangs a little loose in the colder weather as evidenced below.

My problem has been that the watch rode high on my wrist. Since I don't care for metal watchbands I figured I'd try a leather watchband. That didn't look right. So I went to a one piece Milspec strap that raised it another millimeter above my wrist…that didn't work out! I finally settled on the original bracelet. The Seiko engineers designed it for this watch. It works, why mess with it?

Nicely composed post, Paul - even if it took a couple of attempts and a bit of post-editing on my part. What missing posts ?

Couldn't help noticing your new Moto-Lita steering wheel too.

Of the Orient / Racer variants previously posted on this page, like Paul (in Vegas) I prefer the champagne dialed J39930-70.

But even though it's a long way from mint, my favourite is still my first watch using this case - the white dialed Racer J39028-70.

Seeing as I'd had to get my Orient / Racer J39 collection box out, I thought I'd swap that Racer J39 for a 'beater' this afternoon ....
Another I hadn't worn in a while: my Orient J39701-70 with midnight blue dial on a 20mm 'Feiko' after-market stainless bracelet.

Here's one that doesn't get much wrist time, on account of its size (and my preference for its larger 43mm diameter siblings) ....

Plus it's not the best of examples - Yema Spationaute III 38mm 'reduced' model # N80A66 on a Fleurus navy blue shark strap.
