Listed on SCWF Trading Post this morning. Rather over-optimistically priced, I'd say - given the somewhat less than mint condition. FS: Seiko 7A28 x Bridgestone Motor Sport, January 1985-$950
Indeed - look closely at the second photo which is a little sharper - and which the seller hasn't included in his SCWF FS post.

Just to put Lampson's ludicrous $950 asking price into perspective .... (Reference his statement: We have only seen one Bridgestone come up in 4 years ....) Here's a partial copy of a post from the Yahoo Japan Auctions - Watching Watches thread. This example was NOS and mint. Originally posted by myself October 20, 2013 at 3:40 PM: The auction was indeed extended, but only the once, by 5 minutes. It ended at 15:34 (UK time) instead of the scheduled 15:29: http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g131978459
The 7A28-7140 sold for 56,000 Yen (approx. £354 GBP / $572.50 US) after 38 bids by 9 different bidders. Although quite expensive, in relative terms - nothing like the ridiculous price asked by the previous would-be Japanese seller. Looking at the winning ID, I suspect it'll probably soon be heading on its way to join a burgeoning 7Axx collection 'Down Under'.

If you click on that link to the FS advert on SCWF Trading Post, included in my first post from this morning, all you'll get now is this: http://www.thewatchsite.com/8-seiko-citizen-trading-post/131666-withdraw.html
Looks like someone may have given the seller a 'reality check'.

Subsequently re-advertised on SCWF Trading Post at the weekend, with a rather more realistic asking price of $350 - and Sold.
