'Stunning' NOS 7A38-7000 SAA007J on eBay UK asking £500 ....

I hate seeing the word 'stunning' used to describe anything other an attractive woman, because no watch deserves that accolade. It's frequently abused by eBay sellers with limited vocabulary. That said, an alluring NOS stainless 7A38-7000 SAA007J was listed yesterday evening by a UK eBay seller, as a 10-day auction with an opening bid price of £500, which may seem expensive, but if you read through the last few pages of the old forum's 7A38-7000 SAA007J model thread, comparing this with other lesser condition examples that have sold in the last couple of years, it's not unrealistic.
After my own lacklustre efforts yesterday, I'm in no position to criticize, but I'd opine the seller's photos probably don't do it justice. Unlike a number of previous examples purporting to be 'NOS', this one truly appears to be in exceptional 'like new' unworn condition. It might be missing the hang tag and user manual, which certain eBay sellers make such a song and dance about (frequently fabricating 'full sets'), but the watch itself is perfection personified. The polished bezel is free of scuff marks; the matt black painted bracelet inlays are fresh; the SQ clasp is unmarked and there's a pristine JWCII inspection sticker on the case-back.
And you know what ? If I didn't already have half a dozen of them, including a couple of 'minters', I could almost be tempted to place that opening bid myself.
