Another stupidly over-priced 7A38-7140 SAA051J on eBay Italy

Although it irked me from the moment I'd first seen it, I initially resolved not to mention it, so as not to be accused of constantly criticizing or singling out Italian eBay sellers. On 19th July, seller autleaf listed this NOS 7A38-7140 SAA051J with a typically Italian ludicrous Buy-it-Now price of 1400 Euros - probably double what it's worth in real world terms.

Has to be said, the composition of some of the photos were a little strange, particularly the zoomed in close-up shots, one of which the seller chose to use as his primary image. These are the two which really matter, showing the watch is definitely NOS. I had a quick look through my photo folders and that case-back serial # 580064 isn't one I'd seen before.
After a couple of days, the seller revised the listing, replacing some of the photos. Here's one of his 3 later additions:
RARE Vintage 1985 Seiko Quartz chronograph Sports 100 7A38-7140. In a new condition, never used, currently working and keeping good time, beautiful and very rare watch. It’s hard to find another one in this condition, with outer box, booklet
