7A38-701B 'Vulcan' with wrong bracelet on eBay - $950 ?

This 7A38-701B 'Vulcan Bomber', fitted with a non-original replacement Seiko bracelet (p/n B1688S) was listed on eBay late yesterday afternoon by a Moroccan seller, with a Buy-it-Now asking price of $950 US. There is also the option to make an offer, which is why I deliberately delayed posting about it, on the off-chance it might sell overnight. It didn't.

The seller's description merely states:

Vintage Seiko 7A38-701B quartz Chrono from 1983. It is in excellent condition. It has a Seiko B1688E full length bracelet.

Has to be said that most of the seller's photos are too softly focused (for my liking) - apart from the last one showing the bracelet's part number stamping. He describes the condition as MINT and excellent. Thankfully I don't need another, but if I was considering purchase, I'd be very wary. Note also the seller's less than stellar feedback rating of 66.7% !

Ouch. Looks like somebody just paid the full whack. It sold just over 5 minutes ago, for the full $950 Buy-it-Now price after the Moroccan eBay seller had declined two offers this morning.

The very same 7A38-701B 'Vulcan', case-back serial number 303718, fitted with an incorrect replacement p/n B1688S bracelet, which sold last June for $950, re-appeared late last night, listed by profiteering UK re-seller bigmacnofat, with an extortionately marked-up Buy-it-Now price of £1375 - slightly more than double what he paid for it. There's no mention in his description of the incorrect bracelet part number.

I've deliberately refrained from uploading any of his 11 listing photos, because they're watermarked Ⓒ bigmacnofat. However if you zoom in on one of them, you can just discern p/n B1688.E on the bracelet fixing tubes. The case-back serial number 303718 is clearly visible in a couple of photos.

If the eBay user ID bigmacnofat sounds familiar, his previous dealings have been documented on a few occasions over the last decade, for example here on the first page of the old archived forum's 7A38-701B SAA005J 'Vulcan' thread. The story actually pre-dated the old forum and was originally written up on page 6 of the UK RLT forum's 7A38-701B thread, when having erroneously titled his listing (as a 7A28) he re-sold another 7A38-701B 'Vulcan' in a 5-day auction in November 2011 for £566. A chip in the bezel enamel of that watch appeared to have been re-touched.

I note that the seller has since revised his listing (3 times), amending the penultimate paragraph of description to read:
