Wearing this NOS condition two-tone Racer J39028-70 this morning - the black dialed version of yesterday's watch (at the bottom of the previous page). But I had to replace the battery in it first.

Wearing this attractive little gold-tone Racer J39928-70 on this sunny Thursday morning, for the first time in absolutely ages. Not often that I actually manage to capture the chevron pattern textured dial. :)

Wearing this two-tone Racer J39028-70 on this blue SATurday morning. Apologies for the reflections atop the domed crystal - it's a trade-off for getting enough light on the dial to show the black chronograph hands. The midnight blue 'mock croc' leather strap is a Di-Modell Bali.

Maybe this shot, with less of next door's roof is slightly better.

Decided to take a break from the dressy Racer J39's today and plumped for something even blingier: my FRED Force 10.

I was dreading taking a photo of this next watch, because it's difficult to pick out the dial details and textures, without reflections in the domed crystal. Turned out remarkably easy. Maybe a fluke. My gunmetal two-tone Racer J39029-70.

Wearing this blingy gold-tone Orient J39930-70 today, having replaced its battery yesterday afternoon, in anticipation.

As usual with these watches, I was fighting the reflections in the domed crystal. This previous shot is better lit, but ....

Wearing my other gold-tone Orient J39930-70 this morning. It's almost identical to yesterday's watch, except this one has a champagne-coloured dial.

I've decided to take a break from the dressy Orient and Racer J39's today. Wearing this almost mint stainless 7A38-7020 SAA009J - prompted by the appearance of another lesser condition example on eBay Germany with a €1000 Euro price tag. I paid €226 Euros for this one, 5 years ago in May 2018. By comparison, it must be worth at least £1000 today. 8-)

Wearing this mint condition stainless 7A38-7000 SAA007J this morning - the best example of this model in my collection.

Even with the extra hour of early morning daylight, it needed something to brighten up a dull overcast Sunday morning. So I dug out one of my 7A38-701B SAA005J 'Vulcan's. Instant sunshine. 8-)

Needed something with a splash of orange for Halloween. 🎃 Logically following on from yesterday's watch (and also because I already had the collection box open), I plumped for this almost mint 7A38-701A SAA003J.

Something plain and simple to start the new month - my subtly modded stainless 7A38-7280 SAA119J. (Fitted Sternkreuz white nylon crystal gasket and 5-hole adjustable clasp).

I grabbed this quick shot of one of my two-tone 7A38-728A SAA128J's between the showers, so please excuse the tiny raindrops on the crystal. This is the German market version, without the gold sub-dial rings. More attractive, IMHO.

Wearing this Yema N8 Flygraf on this chilly Sunday morning. From memory, this is the second one I ever bought (off eBay Germany in January 2012).

Wearing this common-or-garden two-tone 7A38-7289 SAA110J this morning. This almost mint condition example is only the second 7A38 I bought off eBay in December 2008.
