I suspect by now, readers are becoming weary of me posting photos of my various Junghans 24/4610 High Tech Chronos. There's an answer to that. :P Here's my most recently acquired (now 6th) example that I almost finished fettling at the weekend. 'Almost', because I still need to replace the scratched crystal - the tiny mark is just visible above the '55' mark on the constant seconds sub-dial. Before anyone points it out, I've also noticed those couple of bits of detritus above '60' on the rim of the Tachymeter ring, which my lengthy clean-up exercise failed to eradicate. They're trapped between the Tachymeter ring and the underside of the crystal, so I'll be sure to catch them when I replace it in due course. ;)

Time to get back with the (Seiko) programme. No more Mr Junghans. Wearing this tidy 7A38-7010 SAA001J this morning.

Following in a similar vein and to complete the trilogy, I'm wearing this 7A38-701B SAA005J 'Vulcan' this morning. 8-)

The postman delivered it this afternoon. It's been chucking it down, raining all day, so I quickly leaned out of the back door to take this wristshot. Just my luck, a raindrop landed smack above the date window. Trust me it shows 21. ;)

Wearing my subtly modded 7A38-7070, fitted with all-black 709L dial from a 7A38-7080 (and the slightly broader hands from a 7A28-7040/9) this morning. The sun may be shining brightly in my part of England, but there's still drizzle in the air. Hence the sprinkling of tiny raindrops in this shot. What ? A Seiko 'Diver' actually getting wet ?? Heaven forbid ! :P

Haven't worn any of my Yema N8 Flygraf's in ages, so I dug this one out. It was literally on top of the pile. Almost in NOS condition, apart from the slightly iffy coloured hands lume, on the original Yema ribbed black leather strap. Checking my records, this was the 7th example I bought (as a head only) in February 2018. Readers may recall an appropriately titled thread on the old forum: I really didn't need another Yema N8 Flygraf ... I finally decided 'enough is enough' when I purchased my 9th in August 2019. 21 months later and I'm still managing to resist temptation - just !

After writing about another example in this thread yesterday, I thought I should give my NOS Orient J39701-70 with the Indianapolis 500 logo'd dial a quick demonstration lap.

Looks like Summer may finally have arrived. 8-) Wearing this almost NOS condition gold-tone 7A38-7270 SAA096J, which I purchased on a whim from Michele @ Segnatempo a couple of weeks ago. I already had a fairly decent example in my collection, with minor wear to the gold plating, which I've owned for 10 years and more, but this is in better condition.

Wearing this Orient J39723-70 this morning. Seeing as how the sky was dull and overcast, I thought I'd try taking a wrist shot. Domed flat bottomed crystal always creates a problem with reflections. Should've known better. Failed again.

Afternoon swap for my recently acquired, NOS but flawed Racer J39004-70 which was the subject of this recent thread. Reading back through it I realized I hadn't actually taken a wrist shot of it before. No amount of wrist twisting (to get a better angle) can disguise the badly mis-aligned sub-dial appliqué rings. So here it is, in all its boggle-eyed glory.

Possibly not the most aesthetically pleasing choice for a blue SATurday. Wearing this fugly Kamatz 517000 this morning.

I thought I'd dig out something a bit 'special' for this Bank Holiday Monday. If not the most aesthetically pleasing, it's certainly the most exclusive and expensive '7A38' ever produced, by any manufacturer - my fugly FRED Force 10. 8-)

At the weekend, I started another 'wrong bracelet' thread in the eBay section. Over the years, when critiquing Frankens and watches fitted with incorrect replacement bracelets, I'd often post a wrist shot of my own example for comparison.
Seiko7A38 wrote: Sun May 30, 2021 3:07 pmI'm struggling at the moment to find a wrist shot of my own two-tone 7A38-7190 SAA054J ....
It's not often that my photo filing system fails me. In truth I can't actually remember when I last wore it. I certainly wasn't about to scroll through the 90 pages of the old forum's WRUW thread in the hope of finding it. So I dug it out of the collection box, solely for the purpose of taking another wrist shot. My two-tone 7A38-7190 SAA054J. Sorted. :)
