This morning I replaced the battery in my FRED Force 10 7A38. I'd forgotten how awkward it was to unscrew the case-back with the bracelet in situ. It's not as flexible as you might think. Anyway, now it's good for another 5 years or so.

Yesterday afternoon, I took a few wrist shots, for the first time in ages. I wore one of my most recently acquired Yema Spationaute III's - factory prototype N° 02. It really was too bright (even in the shade), so I picked up a few unwanted relections in the domed crystal. The last shot shows the condensed san-serif bezel engraving of the prototypes.

For the last couple of days, I've been wearing this attractive 7A38-7020 two-tone 'split dial' Franken, which I built way back in September 2011. The black lower 703L dial plate and Tachymeter ring came from a stainless 7A38-7020; the hands are 7A38-7260 and the light grey upper 703L dial plate, case and bracelet are from a two-tone 7A38-7020.
