Two more NOS JDM 7A28 'Holy Grails' - now on Special Offer

I had intended to write something about these last month, but workload / other important priorities took precedence. Greedy Italian eBay seller oysterdelarge727 (a.k.a. Giuseppe) has long since usurped the dubious honour of undisputed 'King of the Crazy Prices' from Alberto Ulmi. On 21st January, he listed another ludicrously over-priced NOS JDM 7A28, blasphemously calling it a 'Holy Grail', asking a whopping 2100 Euros for this 7A28-7100 SAY091.

Thing is, although it's undeniably an attractive and desirable JDM variant, the 7A28-7100 SAY091 is anything but rare, especially in Japan.

He'd also listed a NOS example of the rather less attractive 7A28-7050 SAY038 the same day, with the same ludicrous Buy-it-Now price of 2100 Euros.

What finally prompted me to pass comment was that yesterday, he listed the same two JDM 7A28's with a 'special offer' job lot price of 'only' 3500 Euros for the pair !!

I hadn't bothered adding any of them to my eBay watching page, but it's not exactly a surprise to see that Giuseppe has since ended two of those 7A28 listings as allegedly no longer available. Presumably he sold the 7A28-7100 off eBay.

Belated footnote. After a couple more re-listings, which included minor price reductions and ended in 'false starts', Giuseppe ended his latest re-listing for that NOS 7A28-7050 SAY038 at the beginning of this week - in his customary manner, as allegedly no longer available.
