This mint 'investment grade' titanium 7A28-7089 SPR033J, complete with box, tags and manuals, but unfortunately a rather short bracelet, (<7", devoid of a few adjustment links), was listed in the last week of May by a US eBay seller, with a borderline extortionate 'think of a round number and knock one cent off' Buy-it-Now price of $2500 !
Over the last five months, the listing had received nearly 5000 views and garnered some 65 watchers. It finally sold in the early hours of this morning, for an undisclosed best offer. The eBay Purchase History shows that the seller had previously declined 6 offers (including two made by the eventual successful buyer).
Titanium 7A28-7089 SPR033J an 'investment' @ $2.5K ??

I know what I think - and that's anybody who may have bought that example as a potential investment was looking at an instant loss maker !
More opinions on pricing for this model (admittedly on a poorer condition example) in this old thread on WatchUseek.
What do you think ? Silly money ?
