Unlike some of his other recent offerings, this JDM 7A28-7010 SAY010 does actually appear to be in genuinely unworn NOS condition. That said, the random Seiko presentation box and generic tags are typical of the red herrings he's used so many times before. While not exactly an ideal illustration (because they've been interposed), here's what the correct style Japanese market hang tags should look like, were they present:

To put Giuseppe's ludicrous asking price of 2990 Euros into perspective, here's another similar example of a 7A28-7010 in what appears to be almost mint (if not quite NOS) condition, that was listed on Yahoo Japan auctions earlier today, just a few hours before his, as a 7-day auction with an opening bid price of 62,800 Yen. Although the auction has yet to run its course, at current exchange rates, that price equates to $551 US / £410 GBP and a mere 488 Euros.

Were I looking for a JDM 7A28-7010 (which I'm not), I know which one I'd be putting my 'sensible' money on.

As for Giuseppe's irrelevant (read irreverent) 'Holy Grail' and further exaggerated claim in the description, that his is an 'ULTRA RARE WATCH', in truth they're not at all rare, not by any stretch of the imagination. Being a JDM variant, they're relatively common in Japan. Check out this closed search result on Yahoo Japan, which returns nearly 20 of them, albeit lesser condition examples, sold in the last 6 months, with a highest price of 44,000 Yen.

Amazing how he can just arbitrarily wipe 890 Euros off his ridiculous asking price, at a stroke - a figure that's probably more than the watch is actually worth in real world terms - on a good day.

Interestingly, the same 7A28-7010 has also been listed on eBay by cross-platform re-seller antique-yokohama-jp. Their photos may be different to those of the current Yahoo Japan listing, but the case-back serial number 330457 matches.

The Japanese eBay re-seller's marked-up Buy-it-Now price of $889 has been discounted by 5% reducing it to $844.55. Meanwhile Giuseppe is broadcasting unsolicited discount offers of 2000 Euros to his half a dozen bemused watchers.

To give some idea of the realistic value of an almost mint condition 7A28-7010, that 7-day Yahoo Japan auction ended a couple of minutes ago. Evidently, none of the 17 watchers considered it was worth as much as the 62,800 Yen opening bid price. It went unsold.

Well, I must say that I'm surprised and a little disappointed that nobody has jumped in and pointed out my oversight. There's another stupidly over-priced JDM 7A28-7010 SAY010 listed on eBay that I'd somehow managed to miss spotting before today. Not only is it currently the most expensive 7A28 listed on eBay with a ludicrous Buy-it-Now price of $2500, but it's been there since September last year and the listing has received nearly 12,000* views to date !! My excuses are that I don't regularly run worldwide eBay searches on 'Seiko 7A28' and this listing by Japanese cross-platform eBay re-seller japan.premium.shop doesn't actually include the full model number (which I had searched on recently).

I can't say I'd previously noticed this NOS 7A28-7010 listed on Yahoo Japan (if it ever was), but it's currently also listed on Mercari.jp, with a Buy-it-Now price of ¥250,000 Yen, equivalent to approx. $2210 USD / £1657 GBP / 1950 Euros.

Giuseppe's NOS 7A28-7010 appears to have sold late yesterday morning for that reduced Buy-it-Now price of 1600 Euros. Some of his recent previous sales have fallen through, so I deliberately delayed posting anything, in case it was re-listed overnight. It wasn't. The mind truly boggles.
