Hi
This is my first post. I have a 7A38-7260. The bottom left pusher has fallen out and lost. I would like to replace the pusher, spring and gasket or "o" ring. Where can these be obtained? Are there part numbers to make sure I get the correct parts.
Second request. I take it the original black leather strap is not available? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
I am based in the UK.
Thanks David
Advice please replace pusher, spring and gasket
Re: Advice please replace pusher, spring and gasket
Hi, Dave.
You haven't stated whether your 7A38-7260 is stainless, two-tone or gold plated, which would affect the finish of the pusher button. I'm assuming because you say that the original leather strap was black, that it's a stainless 7A38-7260 (SAA097J). If that's the case, then the Seiko part number for the pusher assembly (including spring, washer and O-ring seal) is 80600509. Luckily for you, Cousins UK have them in stock @ £9.95 each + VAT. Just reading your post again, you've got me a little worried. You wrote: The bottom left pusher has fallen out and lost. There is no pusher at bottom left - that's the crown ! Did you mean bottom right ?
Again, assuming your 7A38-7260 is stainless, then the Seiko part number for the original black leather strap is BRA35S. Funnily enough, I answered a request for someone looking for one of these in a post on the UK RLT Watch forum about three years ago. Whereas they were available from the Dutch eBay seller at the time, sadly they're not any more.
Please let me know when you've read my reply and I'll move the thread to the appropriate forum section. (Moved).
PS - the Pusher assembly does not include the retaining circlip. I don't know if you've looked inside your watch and found it. However you may not want to re-use it, if it was the reason you lost the pusher.

Re: Advice please replace pusher, spring and gasket
Thank you for your substantive reply. Clearly, I do not know my left from my right! The missing pusher is at twenty past the hour.
The watch is indeed stainless steel. In fact I found my watch mentioned in your forum. I acquired it in 2013 for £70 and worn it most days since. It has never missed a beat. The number is 777112.
Thanks again all the best,
David

Re: Advice please replace pusher, spring and gasket
I can't say I remember it well Dave. Maybe I mentioned it in the old archived forum's 7A38-7260 SAA097J model thread.*
I did however find photos on file of a stainless 7A38-7270 serial # 777112 from an eBay listing in October 2011.
*Indeed your watch is mentioned three times on the first page of that thread.
