Could things get that much worse in less than 18 months of 'Royal Oak' fueled price hiking ? Apparently so, it seems.

Italian eBay seller minmar continues to provide a laugh a minute. How about a well-worn B1242S link for 60 Euros ?

Re: How much for a used bracelet adjustment link ???
Here is THE PRIME (read 'Worst') example of such completely UNASHAMED GREED that I have ever seen in my life. This eBay listing for various 7Axx bracelet adjustment links (but obviously, from the primary image, majoring on the ever-popular stainless 7A38-7020/9) appeared overnight. You only get one guess as to the identity of the miscreant.

Note that Giuseppe falsely claims: 'I am a collector and passionate, I know what I am selling and how much it is worth'. He may have had a large number of Seiko 7Axx's pass through his hands over the last couple of years, but he is clearly a DEALER rather than collector. The only thing he is passionate about is making as much profit as he can get away with.
It also begs the question how he's managed to amass such a large selection of 'spare' bracelet adjustment links (total 33 links from 13 different models) during his comparatively brief foray into 7Axx 'collecting'. The answer is clear. He has deliberately removed them from watches he has sold ! An utterly despicable practice one would expect from him.
PS. I had to laugh at his typically amateurish mistake. He evidently forgot which model he removed these from.

Another greedy Italian eBay seller diucla49 listed 2 bracelet adjustment links for a two-tone 7A38-7020 / -702A / -702H earlier this morning as a 7-day auction with an opening bid price of 77 Euros, FFS !

Re: How much for a used bracelet adjustment link ???
We have a new entrant in the bracelet link greed and stupidity stakes, though he's actually been around for decades. Yesterday afternoon, US eBay seller vanman2usa listed two well used B1074S bracelet adjustment links with a ludicrous Buy-it-Now price of $195.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm//Seiko-B1074 ... 5008425920
Although I have no conclusive proof, I've a pretty good idea where they came from. He first listed a B1074S bracelet on eBay back in July 2019. I wrote about it on page 12 of the old forum's 7A38-7000 SAA007J model specific thread.
As you can see from the second part, it had come into his hands a year earlier, incorrectly fitted to a 7A38-7070. Most of vanman's laughably over-priced items take a long time to sell (and I'm talking YEARS). He sporadically ends and re-lists them. He'd last re-listed the complete B1074S bracelet on 9th March and ended it (as allegedly no longer available) in the early hours of yesterday morning:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165369932903
Checking the photos from that listing, showed that the bracelet potentially had a total of 7 removable adjustment links:
5 on the 12-o'clock side (4 of which were initially hidden under the clasp) and two on the 6 o'clock side:
I'm waiting with bated breath to see whether he subsequently re-lists the slightly shorter bracelet.

Re: How much for a used bracelet adjustment link ???
Well I'm not quite sure what to make of that. Yesterday US eBay seller vanman2usa re-listed the adjustment links (the Buy-it-Now price reduced by $10).

He'd actually re-listed the B1074S bracelet 10 days ago. From the photos, it doesn't appear to be any shorter.

Re: How much for a used bracelet adjustment link ???
Giuseppe re-listed that 'job lot' of Seiko 7Axx bracelet adjustment links in December 2021. The re-listing is still live and the Buy-it-Now price was reduced to 'only' €500 Euros in December 2022. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384637642246 Although the description generally remains unchanged, it's likely that some links have been sold separately off eBay.Seiko7A38 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 7:36 amHere is THE PRIME (read 'Worst') example of such completely UNASHAMED GREED that I have ever seen in my life. His greed evidently hasn't diminished, because yesterday he separately listed one supposedly NOS bracelet adjustment link for the stainless 7A38-7020, asking €65 Euros (plus 20% VAT applicable in UK).
