Another profiteering German eBay 'Royal Oak' re-seller

Profiteering German eBay re-seller quartzwerk doesn't always get it all his own way. He sometimes has competition for the lucrative German eBay 7A38-7020 'Royal Oak Gravy Train' re-selling racket. Rather than dilute his already distasteful dedicated thread, I'm going to start another, with an ironically relevant quote from his thread, from a month or so ago.

In fact, there was another stainless 7A38-7020 SAA009J on eBay Germany that I was watching with equal, if not more interest. It was a half decent example listed as a 7-day auction with an opening bid price of 276 Euros. At that price I suspected it might give quartzwerk a reasonable profit margin (by his greedy standards), were he to win the auction.

The auction ended with the 7A38-7020 selling for 366 Euros after 6 bids:

Thankfully on this rare occasion quartzwerk didn't end up winning the auction. As revealed by the eBay Bidding History below, he sniped it in the closing seconds as anticipated, bidding 365 Euros, but lost out to another higher snipe bid.

I must admit I was intrigued to learn the identity of the bidder who'd had the temerity to out-snipe quartzwerk to win. If you click on that same link to the eBay Bidding History, you'll see both winning and losing bidders feedback numbers have increased slightly since then - and that I've also discovered the winning bidder's identity - tamers-timepieces.

How can I be certain of that ? Because earlier this morning, profiteering German eBay re-seller tamers-timepieces listed this stainless 7A38-7020 as a 5-day auction with an opening bid price of 499.99 Euros. The encrypted eBay ID in that ended auction shows as t***e and they currently have a matching feedback of 715. Too much of a coincidence ?

Too much of a coincidence ?

Depends which way you look at it. I may have caught them 'red handed' in the act of re-selling, but not as expected. The stainless 7A38-7020 they've just listed has a case-back serial number of 4O7895. I hadn't bothered uploading any photos of it before, but the watch they outbid quartzwerk to win, in mid-March was case-back serial # 3O1144.

So I trust readers will bear with me, while I trawl through my photo folders to see if I can find when it sold previously.

I didn't need to go back very far (at all) to find where that stainless 7A38-7020 s/n 4O7895 had sold previously.
It was in my current month photo folder ! It was listed briefly on Monday afternoon by another German seller.

The original German eBay seller had conveniently included an English translation of his description:

Seiko SAA009 Sports 100 Quartz Chronograph, ref. 7A38-7020 from October 1984.
This was the 'Official watch for the 1984 European Championship'. 39mm size, German/English day wheel.
Good, used condition. Crystal has no scratches (might be a replacement). Bezel polished. Band has stretch according to it's age. Last link on the clasp side was inserted back to front.
All functions work (e.g. chrono with split time, day/date quickset, zero setting for the hands...).
Watch runs and keeps time. Both subdial hands are running as they should.
Bracelet should fit 19cm wrists without problem.
Original water resistance not guaranteed!
Sending to EU countries only with DHL.

Current would-be profiteering re-seller tamers-timepieces is evidently of the opinion that he sold it too cheaply and judging by his opening bid price of 500 Euros, expects to make a minimum profit of 100 Euros.
