Profiteering US eBay re-seller flobaca may have deviated from plan in recent months, listing a number of less desirable two-tone and gold-tone 7A38's, but that's purely down to competition from other buyers and his evident unwillingness to pay higher prices for half decent examples. Seems he may finally have found another suitably horrid example to resume business as usual. There's also another possibility pending, so I give you my prediction for one of his future offerings.Seiko7A38 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 12:44 pmHaving seen so many similar instances over the past few years, some of which are documented in this thread on the old forum, I really should have known what to expect. In the early hours of this morning, greedy profiteering US eBay seller flobaca, whose favourite stock in trade are the stainless 7A38-7020 and 7A38-7029 - and has at times monopolized US eBay sales ....
This well-worn stainless 7A38-7020, with a smashed crystal and missing its crown / stem, in dire need of some TLC, was listed in the early hours of this morning, by a US eBay seller, with a Buy-it-Now price of $125:

Yes - the eBay listing photos really were that small - uploaded size was 500x375 pixels !
I found it this morning, by checking recently ended listings:

WatchCount.com's look-up tool shows the listing was live for just over half an hour in the early hours of this morning.
EBay appears to have taken another obfuscating step towards withholding any useful information. This latest version of the Purchase History screen no longer shows the feedback rating - just the encrypted buyer ID. Not that it would have made any difference in this case. I'm fairly certain it's his other ID zenodass44, which he uses for buying.
