If I'm not mistaken it's this less than stellar example off eBay Italy, with dodgy lume, which ended yesterday evening, selling for a ridiculous €560 Euros.

That well-worn stainless 7A38-7020 with the dodgy hands lume finally appeared in Ticctacc's Instagram feed yesterday:

As usual, it was accompanied by the obligatory hand held video: https://www.instagram.com/p/CqlO5OUAHBL/

Needless to say, as expected, the case-back serial number 3D7205 matches:

Their asking price is €849 Euros. Much lower than their usual extortionate mark-ups, but then this watch isn't a particularly good example. Apart from the manky lume, this one also shows a fair amount of stretch in the bracelet.

According to their Instagram story / this latest highlight, posted 4 hours ago, it's already been sold (to a US buyer).

Greedy profiteering German re-seller Ticctacc posted a mint condition 7A38-704C for sale on Instagram yesterday:

Image

As usual it was accompanied by another hand held video post: https://www.instagram.com/p/CrOR8SBA54l/

Their typical greedily marked-up asking price of €850 Euros is double what the German eBay seller was asking a week ago. In fact, it sold for an undisclosed best offer, so I'd wager that they probably paid him rather less than €425 Euros.

The listing was live for just over 5 hours, last Thursday (13th), per WatchCount.com's Look-up tool:

Note their statement: 'Backside still carries most if the protective film'. The original seller's photo shows how little of it actually remains. Their deceptive photo conveniently shows a reflection of blue sky, which could be mistaken for film.

Not surprisingly, greedy profiteering re-seller Ticctacc's ridiculously over-priced 7A38-704C remains steadfastly unsold.
I note with contempt they re-posted their two previous posts on Instagram yesterday - at the same price: €850 Euros - and with the same typo's.

So this morning, to give it a 'bump', they've added this 'BANANA' post with 6 new photos. Note that they've also increased their previous Instagram price from €799 to €899 euros.

I notice TiccTacc re-posted their still unsold 7A38-7140 on Instagram again yesterday, with the price 'reduced' back to €799 Euros. With that short bracelet, I'd opine that it's more 'LEMON' than 'BANANA'.

They've also uploaded a hand-held video post, which I don't remember seeing before:

Greedy profiteering German eBay re-seller Ticctacc, hiding behind Brit Peters' skirts, hasn't given up on Seiko 7A38's.
This morning they posted another stainless 7A38-7020 on Instagram, with a typical greedy asking price of €1299 Euros.

As usual there's an accompanying hand-held video: https://www.instagram.com/p/CyIOLDStUYB/

I've wasted some time searching this morning, but so far been unable to determine where they sourced it.

I see greedy profiteering German re-seller Ticctacc listed that stainless 7A38-7020 on eBay in the early hours of this morning, with the Buy-it-Now price marked up to an even more ridiculous €1399 Euros. Note they've also falsely categorised its condition as 'New with Tags' - an unforced error that they're all too fond of making.

I spotted that greedy profiteering German re-seller Ticctacc are doing a Halloween promotion on Instagram - offering 30% discount off their ludicrously over-priced Seikos until 31st October, but only if purchased through their web shop (not Instagram nor eBay).

That probably explains how they've finally managed to shift that 7A38-702A (fitted with the wrong case-back), which they'd originally posted on eBay, Instagram and their web shop over a year ago, back in September 2022. Checking my eBay watching page, they ended the listing (as item no longer available) on the evening of 19th October - the first day of their discount promotion. Too much of a coincidence, methinks.

From what I've seen (only from watching their 7A38's) profiteering German re-seller Ticctacc aren't very good at managing items across their three sales platforms: eBay; Instagram and their Web shop. Here's a classic case.

On Saturday evening, they ended their latest eBay re-listing for the 7A38-7140 with a very short bracelet, as item no longer available. That re-listing had run since February this year, but the watch had been unsold on their inventory, since December 2021 (for earlier history of the watch see this thread).

I'd assumed they'd finally managed to sell it through their Web shop on the back of the Seiko 30% discount offer. :|
But checking it's still there, available to purchase: https://ticctacc.com/products/seiko-7a3 ... 5-kopieren

Good Evening,

I am looking to purchase another Seiko or two, and really like the 7a38s. My only Seiko watch which I wear daily is a 7546-6040 (1978 manufacture date).

What do you think about this listing? I like the watch, but there seems to be some red flags with the seller. Should I hold off on purchasing? Is it overpriced. The condition of the watch is hard to determine from the pictures. Watch appears to be original? Looking for any advice. Watch also seems to be a rarer model. apologize in advance if I am breaking any forum rules, as I am new here.

Thank you,
Robert

Hello, Robert.

I had written about Ticctacc's 7A38-7050 on the previous page, when they posted it on Instagram in December last year.
Seiko7A38 wrote: Mon Dec 26, 2022 12:08 pm TiccTacc posted their incoming 7A38-7050 For Sale on Instagram yesterday, Christmas Day. I'd missed it earlier, because I only briefly searched Instagram on hashtag #seiko7A38 yesterday and they've erroneously titled and tagged it as '7A28'.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CmlXbe0t7AO/

As always, there's a separate post with a hand-held video: https://www.instagram.com/p/CmlXnqGKvHS/

Compared to some of their other over-priced offerings, their asking price of 599 Euros doesn't seem characteristically ambitious. What they've written about the bracelet is bullshit. The p/n Z1148S fitted to the 7A38-7050 (and -705A) is prone to stretching, due the the small black interconnecting links opening out. As indeed can be seen by the gaps between the links in their video. Hence why their bracelet is 'very long'.

PS - At the time of writing, they still haven't listed this one on eBay.
They never did get around to listing this on eBay - hence my earlier comment about their inconsistency. Checking the Instagram links and your web shop link, it appears to still be available. The fact that it's gone unsold for nearly eleven months should tell you one thing - that it's typically over-priced. But as I wrote previously, not as ambitiously over-priced as some of their other offerings. I'm surprised it didn't sell during their 30% off Halloween discount offer. The discounted price would almost have been realistic. The watch appears to be unmolested and original, in average worn condition. They aren't particularly rare. The knack is finding one in pristine condition, with an unstretched bracelet. If you want to learn more about this model, may I suggest reading through the old archived forum's model specific thread:

Thank you for the response. Should I be concerned with the stretched bracelet? Does this indicate that the band will likely fail or be uncomfortable wearing?

I will read up on the 7a38-7050 thread. Thank you for sharing.

Thank You,
Robert

The small black painted bracelet interconnecting links can be tightened up, with a pair of needle-nose pliers, care and plenty of patience.

Earlier this morning, exactly 12 months to the day since they first listed it, profiteering German re-seller Ticctacc ended their eBay re-listing for that ludicrously over-priced allegedly NOS stainless 7A38-7190, fitted with an incorrect Seiko bracelet, as item no longer available.

Even with their current 20% off Xmas discount offer, I find it difficult to believe that anybody could be stupid enough to pay four figures for a very common model - one which wasn't NOS and fitted with the wrong bracelet. The mind boggles.
