It may only be the 4th of December, but I very much doubt that this 'steal' will be bettered in the remaining 27 days of the month. While searching for the source of profiteering German eBay seller quartzwerk's latest UEFA Euro '84 hyped well-worn stainless 7A38-7020, mit 'Official Timer' pin (which I haven't yet managed to identify), by chance I stumbled across another instance of an extremely wily 'snatch and grab', which took place on the evening of 1st December.

This half decent looking stainless 7A38-7020, in need of a replacement battery, was listed by a German eBay seller, as a 10-day auction with an opening bid price of 15 Euros. Not only couldn't they manage to spell Seiko correctly, but they didn't include the model number in their title nor description.
There's no evidence of any revision having been made to the listing, so presumably there must also have been the option to make an offer. The eBay Purchase History shows that it sold for a mere 21 Euros !
WatchCount.com's Look-up tool shows the listing was live for less than 8 minutes, during which it received 34 views.
The canny buyer has already received it and left feedback:
