This is another chapter in the long-running saga of profiteering UK eBay re-seller
hollizaak007. Please bear with me, because it will take a little longer to write up than usual. I think I've just witnessed some crass stupidity on the part of one of his customers, which will play right into his greedy hands again. Yesterday evening, a UK eBay seller entered a Buy-it-Now listing for what
supposedly was a two-tone 7A38-7280, which they were selling comparatively cheaply because they believed it was in need of a service.

Except it was pretty obvious from the seller's photos that it was actually a two-tone 7A38-727A:

The seller's description is best described as a testament to his ignorance:

He wrongly assumed that fitting a replacement battery meant the watch needed a movement service.
From the price he paid last year (of almost £400) and the Seiko presentation box, it's not difficult to figure out who he bought it from - none other than profiteering re-seller
hollizaak007.

hollizaak007 has eventually found another mug punter buyer for another of his ex-henzz1337 7A38's. The two-tone 7A38-727A sold in the early hours of the morning, not for his greedily marked-up Buy-it-Now price of £400, but for
an undisclosed best offer.

Which of course is this one (full details in
my post at the bottom of the previous page):

The other one, a two-tone 7A38-727A, for which he's asking a typically greedy marked-up Buy-it-now price of £400, is a more recent acquisition from the same source: German eBay seller
henzz1337.
He purchased it in mid-March for a best offer, presumably less than €165 Euros.

I didn't see the listing while it was live, but according to WatchCount.com's look-up tool, it lasted 5 minutes short of 2 hours before someone grabbed it up.

And this is where the travesty comes in. According to the
eBay Purchase History it was bought by someone with an encrypted ID of
z***0 - very likely
hollizaak007.
