Allow me to make another prediction, that's very likely to become yet another extortionately marked-up forthcoming offering from greedy would-be profiteering UK eBay re-seller
hollizaak007, possibly after he's got round to listing the remaining 7A38's he purchased from German eBay seller
henzz1337 in January (see previous page).
I've never been averse to 'tasteful' bling and have always had a bit of a soft spot for the
gold-tone 7A38-7260 SAA100J. Indeed, if you've read the above linked 7A38-xxxx model specific thread on the old forum, you'll already know that my collection included half a dozen, in varying condition of which these three examples, fitted with the original Seiko p/n BRJ37G leather strap are the best.

They're not rare, not by any stretch of the imagination and turn up on eBay, mostly in Italy, but also UK fairly regularly. The knack is in finding examples with minimal wear to the gold plating on the rim of the bezel and tops of the lugs - and if you're fussy (and fortunate) on the original Seiko strap. Now I most certainly don't need another one, but when decent examples come up on eBay, they still somehow manage to perk my interest.
One such example came up on eBay UK earlier this month, listed as a 10-day auction, with an opening bid price of £155. I didn't bother taking a screen print of the listing; just right-clicked and saved the superb photos* and added it to my eBay watching page. It was being sold by the original owner who had fitted a good quality Hirsch replacement strap.

*I hadn't realized before, but the seller had
revised the listing a number of times, subsequently replacing a few of his photos. I've uploaded less than half, both from the original set and later additions. He'd also revised the description slightly since I first read it (removing an erroneous sentence about an 'original' Seiko buckle, that wasn't, which he'd mistakenly included):

The auction ended yesterday evening, with the 7A38-7260 selling for a higher than average £205 after 4 bids.

Checking the
eBay Bidding History, shows that up until 15 minutes before the auction was scheduled to end, no bids had been placed, then someone placed one for the opening price of £155. Three snipe bids came in the final 10 seconds, two from the winning bidder, with a feedback of 1954, which coincidentally happens to be the same as
hollizaak007.

So now it's just a matter of waiting, to see how much over his 'minimum standard' extortionately marked-up Buy-it-Now price of £365 he tries to flog this one for.
