Well the watch and not the plane. Also I don't care if the internet stories are not true, I LIKE IT!

You don't see one of these everyday and I just couldn't help myself:

Looks good to me. Maybe not my daily wearer, but fun for a change. Great condition.

...and that's no Vulcan ;)

Lovely watch all the same, but the mysterious "Vulcan" is the 7A38 with day/date.

I don't really think any of them are Vulcan's but lets not go there:grin:, that subject has been done to death on other forums.

What I like about the 7A28 version is the full lumed index markers, clean looking dial and I also have a spare movement just in case.

Having said that I would really love the 38 version but hype on the internet has put prices beyond a reasonable amount for me.

Not sure whether the bracelet is original? pictures to follow when it arrives from Japan.

One of these popped up on my local CL a few years ago. I should have picked it up despite it's size.

Enjoy your almost-a-vulcan!

Always been somewhat of a grail piece for me. Deeply loved and admired, appreciated and coveted albeit from afar. I shall continue my love affair through photos. For me, she is right up there on a short list and I can only hope she doesn't remain just out of reach. I have been close enough to smell her sweet perfume as she passed by me. The turbulence of that warm summer air circled by me and brought her sweet smell to my senses. One day. One day.

Just to show the difference in the size of these two in question and also my crap camera skills

Here are my two. My favorite is the 28 as it is slightly larger and looks in my opinion better on the wrist.

Out of all my Seiko's this is the one I wear the most, it just seems to suit every occasion

Nice catch Other John
