I already had a 6139 -7060 in the collection but spotted a slightly better one on ebay. Sellers picture:-

Not bad, I thought it had potential so went for it. Robmayres gave me concerns about the seller as it was the same one that sent him the wrong watch but it turned up and is better than expected.
The watch has been used but obviously has been treated with respect over its 40 year life because the case and bracelet both are in pretty decent shape without any dents and no polishing either. It was therefore decided to just give it a clean up.
The case and bracelet were cleaned and finished off in the ultrasonic cleaner and new gaskets fitted all round. The crown it came with was too large and I feared the old crown must have come off and been lost and possibly the cog and spring used to operate the rotating indicator wheel may be lost also but they were still there so a new correct crown was fitted.
I bought a new crystal in anticipation but this proved to be premature because the original one is almost perfect, not worth changing. I should be more patient.
When I got the watch I checked the movement on the Timegrapher and it had a stuttery beat so justified a strip down and full service. Nothing was amiss, in fact the was no wear to speak of so I put it down to dirt and old lube.
It was a painless service and clean up, that's why I like straight watches that have not been messed about. The serviced watch:-

Finally a picture with my first 7060
