Just been doing a box tidy up so a good opportunity for a picture or two.

There seems to be loads of these i think you could dedicate your collecting life to these no problem

Lets see what you have.

Storage is always a bit of a problem don't you think, some of the ones in the States look real good at a great price but by the time shipping etc added on they can work out pricey :(

Awesome collection!

I've got a 1984 7a38-7080. I'm still searching for a pvd bracelet (now on a stainless bracelet) and I'm a bit afraid to change the crystal, which requires me to remove the diving ring. I'm afraid to damage the pvd case, so I keep the scratched crystal for a while, it's not that bad :)

seller's pic, I stil have to make one...

I have a soft spot for Seiko Quartz, yet dont own any 7A28 or 38.

This is partly because the 7A28 doesnt have a date. However I'm still on the lookout for a 7A38 grail.

TheTigerUk - That gold dialed with SS body does look amazing though.

Some really smart watches there.
I have a 7A28 but seldom wear it as I prefer Seiko automatics, especially 61XX series.

Thanks, that is actually a 7A28-7049 but the original movement and dial had been ruined by a battery leak, i now have a NOS dial and hands for the 7049 but just need a donor movement, i was going to use the gold one in it already but just too nice to part out.

I like especially the 7A28 with the diver bezel but they're quite pricey in MINT condition..

I was even later to the feast than Bartleby so I thought I'd wait until this Sunday and give this thread a bit of a bump. Here's the SOTC for my 7A's (most of them anyway .
:)

7A28's

7A38's

7A48's

7A34's

I haven't added much in ages. Gone are the days when you could pick up a good example for a few quid.

Kind regards
Dave
