This NOS Seiko 7A38 designed by the famous Italian car designer Giugiaro is a real gem, and comes with the original hangtag, quality control sticker on the back, guarantee booklet and the original Seiko ‘display’ box which was an option presented by some jewelers back in the day. Bracelet is fully original and at full length.

This concerns reference SAA021J in unworn state. The watch is as good as perfect, give and take a couple of small imperfections due to the years of storage. Mineral glass is perfect. The 7A38 movement (the first mass produced quartz chronograph movement) was given a service recently, and is in prime shape. Keeps time, and the chrono works perfectly. Reset to 0 without issues and the pushers do not ‘stick’.

The watch, with diameter excluding crown of 38/39mm, was produced in May 1984. The guarantee booklet dates from April 1984.
