Normally i'm found over on the Tag forum drooling over old F1s but i'm also a big Sci-fi fan and after watching "Aliens" a couple months ago in glorious HD i noticed "Ripleys" watch for the 1st time, a quick search revealed it was a Seiko 7A28-7000 Speedmaster and in demand.
Fast forward to today and i was driving through a small market town in Northumberland, the wife wanted to stop so the dog could strech his legs, we parked up on the main road next to a 2nd hand Jewellers, afer spying a couple older 2nd hand watches in the window i though i would have a look inside, asking the owner if he had any more older watches he replied "just these 3" and pointed to a shelf behind the counter - and there it was the Seiko "Aliens" in stainless complete with original strap, plastic pusher covers and virtually unmarked case and glass, the chrongraph workes perfectly snapping back to 12 when reset - no case though but for the price i wasnt complaining.
here are some photos - if anyone has a period correct box or instructions please let me know.

Don't take this personally but I think I hate you ;-)

Especially because said market down is probably only just down the road from me.

I'm not jealous or filled with envy.

Honest.

No, really...

:-d

Great score - thanks for sharing.
